The Lewis-Palmer School District 38 Board of Education in Monument, Colorado, is seeking a highly qualified Superintendent. The Board wishes to have the successful candidate assume the responsibilities of the position no later than July 1, 2024.

The Board of Education seeks an inspirational leader who demonstrates:
An ability to earn trust with staff members, parents, and the community at large
Integrity, a tireless work ethic, strong emotional intelligence, and power and quality listening skills
A willingness to honor the successes and traditions of D-38 while looking forward as a data-informed, strategic innovator
Commitment to high standards, continuous improvement, and accountability for all
Advocacy for local control, and the ability to view the greater educational landscape as it impacts D-38
The capacity to embrace disruption as an opportunity and separate urgent from important
A regular presence in schools and genuine advocacy for students and staff
Balanced academic and business acumen, experience effectively managing human capital, a record of fiscal responsibility, and demonstrated consistent leadership over time
Additional Requirements:
Selected candidate must possess or qualify for required Colorado licensure
Total Compensation: $190,000 - $225,000 subject to negotiation
