New Teacher/Licensed Staff Orientation:
New teaching/new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 22 & 25, 2022
Experience:
District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year K-12 teaching experience up to 20 years. 
Work Schedule: 
182 contracted work days

Salary: 
The minimum starting pay is $42,000*/year and the maximum salary is $71,388*/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on the level of formal education and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 20 years).

Qualifications and Expectations:

  1. BA/BS from an accredited college or university

  2. Valid Colorado teaching license endorsed in area of assignment: Elementary Education AND Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education (K-12) OR

    1. a valid CO licensed endorsed in another area AND passing exam scores on the PRAXIS II  OR

    2. a valid CO license endorsed in another area - HR to review transcripts and make a determination OR

    3. a valid CO license endorsed in another area and a BA/BS - HR to review transcripts and make a determination
