SUPERINTENDENT-Wayne County RESA

The Board of Education of the Wayne County Regional Educational Agency (WCRESA) welcomes applications from qualified applicants for the position of Superintendent.

Wayne County RESA is a regional educational service agency that provides a broad range of services and supports all schools and students in Wayne County aimed at improving student achievement and maximizing economies of scale in staff development, purchasing, and administrative services.

With a total population of approximately 1.8 million, Wayne County is the most populous county in the State of Michigan and the 18th most populous county in the nation. There are 33 school districts in 43 Wayne County communities and 100 public school academies serving a combined total of approximately 272,000 students in public schools county-wide.

Wayne County is the most culturally and linguistically diverse community in the state of Michigan with the school-age population representing nearly 40 different home languages other than English.

SALARY AND COMPENSATION

The Board of Education is offering a highly competitive, multi-year compensation and benefits package with a salary range of $200,000- $225,000.
