JG Consulting has engaged with the Agua Fria Union High School District (Agua Fria UHSD) to recruit qualified candidates to serve as the Superintendent.
Agua Fria UHSD is seeking an effective communicator who is willing to defend and make difficult decisions on behalf of the district. The district’s leader must possess an expertise and knowledge in academic policy and pedagogy and its impact on student academic achievement. The Superintendent must have a track record of successfully seeking and implementing best practices to maximize the success of the entire organization with an emphasis on raising the academic achievement of all students.
Agua Fria Union High School District was established in 1955. Today, the district serves the communities of Avondale, Buckeye, Goodyear, Litchfield, Waddell and part of Glendale with its five high schools: Agua Fria, Canyon View, Desert Edge, Millennium, Verrado and two alternative programs (Coldwater and New Directions). The district currently serves approximately 8,000 students across Maricopa County. Agua Fria UHSD strives to prepare students for college and career. The district is in close proximity to Phoenix, AZ which boasts many cultural exhibits and family-oriented activities to enjoy.
