Chief Program Officer
Equal Opportunity Schools (EOS), a national education nonprofit, seeks a strategic, entrepreneurial, and mission-driven educational equity champion to serve as its next Chief Program Officer (CPO). Founded and headquartered in Seattle, Washington, Equal Opportunity Schools works to transform the sense of what is possible for historically underserved and underestimated high school students by providing equitable opportunities to succeed at the highest academic levels. EOS partners with school, district, county, state, and national leaders around the country to close race and income enrollment gaps as well as success gaps in their Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) programs.
Our CPO will have the unique opportunity to advance a successful program with a track record of impact and continued innovation and a demonstrated record of building significant capacity for educational equity across the country’s high schools. They will work under the direction of the CEO to shape and lead the organization’s Action for Equity programming – ensuring A4E programs are innovative, impactful, effective, and aligned with our core values and practices. The CPO leads the exploration, development, and implementation of new A4E program offerings, metrics of success, and dynamic opportunities for growth and development.
