How COVID-19 has Exposed Education in-Equities in the US
Interactive Virtual Discussion hosted by Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents
ALAS was founded to provide a voice for all members on all issues of inequity for all children, but most inherently our LatinX youth. And, now more than ever, ALAS members are in a unique position to create a significant shift in an educational system that was designed to marginalize students of color, status, and need.
Bold thinkers, action-oriented leaders addressing the inequities in the here and now, and what might it look like this summer, beyond the fall, or a year from now.
Join us for an interactive virtual discussion with leaders who are navigating these new opportunities and challenges posed by the current global crisis.
A word from our Executive Director…
YOUR VOICE MATTERS!
Now more than ever, ALAS members are in a unique position to create a significant shift in an educational system that was designed to marginalize students of color, status, and need.
As we prepare for our upcoming ALAS virtual event on April 16th, We are asking for your input on the topics that we need to be addressing as education leaders during these unprecedented times. We will be using your thoughts to inform the panel discussion & to ensure that the conversation is as meaningful as possible for everyone.
Click the Participate button to share your thoughts and then rate at least 20-30 of the thoughts that others have shared. Your participation is confidential, so no one will know who shared or rated which thoughts. Please come back often until April 15th to rate new ideas.
