Assistant Superintendent for Assessment, Professional Development and Educational Services
Central Bucks School District is accepting applications for an Assistant Superintendent for Assessment, Professional Development and Educational Services. This administrative position offers excellent benefits and a competitive salary based on education and experience.
Purpose of this position is to promote high quality instructional practices; provide instructional leadership direction; and coach, mentor and support principals as they grow their leadership skills. Assistant Superintendent for Assessment, Professional Development and Educational Services is an integral part of the classroom-by-classroom, school-by-school effort to assess instruction and increase student achievement in every school. Responsible for helping to select and assign principals, supporting differentiated professional growth and building the leadership capacity of the District. Accountable for collecting, analyzing and using multiple sources of data to guide continuous improvement and quality school leadership of the District.
Requirements include Master’s degree or doctorate in educational administration or related field.
PA Letter of Eligibility for Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent.
Successful candidate must demonstrate a history of educational excellence & leadership; strong communication, evaluation and supervisory skills; ability to motivate staff, cultivate employee development and achieve objectives.
